Changing Smiles…Changing Lives
Orthodontics is the best profession there is! I have great staff members and wonderful patients and look forward to going to work every day to create beautiful smiles and lasting relationships. It is a very fulfilling and rewarding experience, knowing that the care I provide has a direct effect on the health, self-esteem, and confidence of my patients. Orthodontics isn’t just about changing smiles; it’s about changing lives.
I was born and raised in Germany. I came to Dallas in 1989 for a research project conducted at Southern Methodist University in cooperation the University of Hohenheim in Germany, completing the requirements for my Master of Science in Biology. I continued my education at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas and received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors in 1995. I was awarded my Master of Science in Orthodontics in 1998 following a three-year orthodontic residency at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, a program recognized as one of the best in the world.
I attend many continuing education programs to learn about advances in orthodontics, ensuring up-to-date treatment for my patients. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, I have demonstrated my commitment to excellence in practice. I am also an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the World Federation of Orthodontists, the Greater Dallas Orthodontic Association, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Dallas County Dental Society.
I have truly enjoyed living in University Park for the past 20 years. My husband Alex, our children, and I love to spend time enjoying all the area has to offer. I am personally passionate about art and architecture, interior design, and traveling. Of course, nothing is better than spending quality time with my family.
As an active member of the community, I am involved in numerous organizations, both on local and international levels. I have gladly supported WOW, Women for Orphans Worldwide for many years, and am involved in my church community.
